i love love love our 'bialetti mukka express'. you know bialetti. they've been making the classic aluminum stovetop 'moka express' since 1933. the 'mukka express' is said to make cappuccino. well, it doesn't make cappucinno. but it does make an addictive frothy cafe au lait.
do all soy milks froth equally? no indeed. so this is my tip. whether using the mukka or a separate frother, kikkoman pearl organic soy milk stands head and shoulders above the rest. original or vanilla work equally well. oh, and another tip, you can buy it @ 'cash and carry', 170 south van ness for less that half of what safeway charges. i buy them by the case.
